We’ve been interested in the rare breed that is the shooting brake for a while now. We love the long, low two door format, here with integrated lateral lines and that panache of all early Lamborghini.

Apparently the Flying Star was a one-off based on the 400GT coupé, motored by an aluminium V12 and bodied by Milanese artisans Carrozzeria Touring for one extremely lucky and visionary individual.

What particularly turns us on here at Influx Towers is, though, the beautiful hand made logo placed, unusually, aside of one of those superbly unique asymmetrical headlamp cowlings.

Lambo has a great history of killer logos, but this beauty, whose designer and craftsman remains lost to history, has a guaranteed spot for life in our automotive design hall of fame.
