I think i'll have to pay these guys a visit.
We get the same "mini Car" coments but only because its a classic mini. My 7yr old son shouts boooo! whenever he see's a bmw mini.

What a great article and fabulous pictures. I absolutely love the pickup. I don't think the scrappage scheme will have too much effect on these great cars - hopefully not anyway - the Mini scene in the UK is so strong and I'm sure that 90% of the cars are owned by people that love them too much for that. Incidentally, regarding the little children comment; my wife and I both own new MINIs and get exactly the same reaction - I've heard it so often - children point and say "Mini car!"
Keep up the good work, Malcolm and Alex.

Excellent to see there are still people out there dedicated to keeping Mini alive and well. Totally agree with the comments about children who are absolutely fascinated by Minis. I guess they've only grown up with people carriers so the idea that cars don't have to be oversized and ugly is a novelty.

Nice to see a van and a pickup! As a long time mini enthusiast and owner I completely agree with the statements about head turning. I own a minivan ( and at one time a pickup too so I had a "commercial pair" - however some theiving so-and-so stole the pickup from outside the house one day. Who steals a mini pickup unless they want exaclty one of those???) I restored the van over a period of years and I've lost count of the number of people that come up to admire it, tell me they used to have one or even ask if it's for sale! Good Luck to Malcolm and Alex.
