speed cameras can be a pain, but they are there to control the speed of the masses to make sure that no accidents take place. yes they rake the fines in and spend them on more cameras to catch you out. but to be honest. the speed limit on the roads are there for a reason. no, im not telling you to only do 70mph max! Simply that real drivers dont pick busy routes to prove what their made of. a tricky backroad that isnt busy, off the beaten track, away from the majority of civilisation… those are the trakcs for the real racers, tight bends, short and ling straights, a mix of bends, inclines and hard left handers… rwal racer teratory… and no speed cameras down there, because the speed governors realise this. No need tobe safe when your having fun, You’ve just got no chance of taking out some poor mum on the school run that way.…

I would love to see the results of road accidents since Swindon told the height road and took away the camera's. (Thank GOD someone see sence)
I for one do believe that they contributed to more incidents than they prevented, nothing like a car pulling in front of my 44 ton truck (speeding) then seeing the camera (TO LATE) and slamming on the brakes (rubber smoke everywhere) then the realisation of the impending trunk fully loaded bearing down on them (TO LATE MATE)...
