"So, we're well into show season - and there's no car show in Britain quite like this weekend's Silverstone Grand Prix. Before we head off to the petrolheaded version of Glastonbury we were thinking about the changing nature and aesthetic "
Musician and actor Francoise Hardy was stylish, classy.
She had a perfect look for the sixties and seventies, and she was known to love a race car and a bike or two too.
Petrol-inclined individuals are more likely to know her through her involvement in John Frankenheimer’s Grand Prix – the 1966 classic schlockfest set in the European racing scene, where she, predictably, plays a love interest.
We found this nice little selection of images from Grand Prix recently – and Hardy’s perfect poise really stuck out –
Expect to see the new generation of custom bike girls rocking the Hardy look on a hunk of iron near you.
