"Ploughing through a stack of boxes to escape the bad guys, endless drifting through a car park, angering a fist-shaking market stall owner in pursuit of an escaping criminal; that’s the stunt driving dream. For a lot of people "
Fergus is living the #Vanlife dream – Short Movie
Fergus is living the #vanlife dream. He surfs, he skates, he answers to nobody… but for how long can he keep rolling?
Most of us, at some time or another, have dreamt of loading up a van with all a person could need, and heading on the road for an open-ended adventure.
The surfers amongst us are particularly prone to dream of this sort of romance – and many of us have given it a bash for a while, at least. This short film is a little taster submission to the forthcoming LondonSurf Film Festival (which is organised with much aplomb by Influx writer Chris Nelson).
What we like is the way it brings out the poignancy and potential pitfalls of a lonely life on the road – as well as it’s inherent beauty, too.
You can vote for the film here.
Stay tuned for the full-length version out this Autumn –
