There’s something about the Volvo Duett that we can’t get out of our system. We’ve been crazy for Volvo estates for a years now. The box-like practicality and simple, unpretentious purity of the designs encapsulate what we love about utility motoring. It all began, it seems, in the early fifties with the beautiful colour-coded, ladder-framed Duett.
As a development toward the all-conquering Amazon series, in our opinion its woody-like profile, whitewalls and chrome trim puts it firmly into the realms of the classic. What’s more, the cavernous headroom availability puts contemporary MPVs to shame. More forward thinking from the Scandinavians. We love you Volvo.
