BMW E9 – 3.0 CSi

This beautiful BMW 3.0 CSi is one of those cars whose understated stylishness highlights how over-designed so many contemporary cars really are.
We particularly love the beautifully clear lines between the A and C pillars on the Karmann built body. Combine that with the pert, pinched rear-end and you have an amazingly well-realised design that whispers minimal functionalism.
But, with a 3 litre straight six this beauty can shift, too. We reckon this one must be pushing 40 years old now, but the presence of the car remains crisp, fresh and contemporary.
Bravo. Let’s hear it for the E9 ‘New Six’.
