  1. Some great cars there…8 wonder why ford don’t extend the RS brand outside of the focus. It’s a cool car brut I am getting a little bit tired of seeing it. what about an Rs fiesta for the streets, or even a Rs Smax!

You have missed out the iconic Ford V8 Pilot but then you have to be a bit ancient to remember it. John

they should build the GR-1. they would sell like hot cakes I reckon, I’d buy one on lucks alone

RS Ka, RS Fiesta, Focus is done, RS Mondeo, RS Galaxy would be a blast……..

What about the GT40 and the Cortina 1600E – and why is the 2.8 Capri in there – only reasonable performance and the steering wheel was a waste of time.

  6. capri is no del,s car..!!!

cant w8 to see the new ford capri next year seen pics of it in auto express looks well cool at back. but looks a bit to ford focus at the front… and i am not keen on the focus.. a bit of a trumpt up small saloon car. glad to see ford are going to bring back a genuine coupe at last…. the capri rs3100 and the aston martin made tickford and 280 brooklands were real fords never have they succesfully replaced it they tried with the probe a mazda rx6 with a ford badge stuck to it. then the couger to bulky and holden like and just plain ugly. and nither sold very well.

The injection special was the 2.8 of choice – better interior, no two tone and it had the all important LSD.

  8. Reckon the GT 40must have been a provocative omission. Surely this is the fast ford…

This is all very “Top Gear” Come on, where are you celebrating the workhorses that the Cortina, Escort and Mk 1 Focus genuinely were. We all thought the Sierra as ugly but it kept going, What happened to the Corsair?
