Pembrokeshire Classics
Located somewhere in a quiet corner of far West Wales, Pembrokeshire Classics is a real treasure trove of beautiful machinery.
We drove past a flotilla of bikes outside the PC workshop one morning last week on the search for something completely different: including the stunning prewar Norton you see here and an eye-catching MZ police bike from the 1980s. We anchored up as usual – knowing instinctively that we’d found a stash of stuff we would want to share.
Most of the stock kept here is relatively affordable too, which makes stumbling upon such an Aladdin’s cave of two-wheeled niceness even more tantalising.
Our favourites were the range of old off-roaders: including Bultacos, BSAs and all manner of other field bike stalwarts.
But there as well as a series of caffed classics and olde English Iron. There’s always a smattering of more modern beauties though, including a crisp CB400/F and a nice, eminently customisable Guzzi tourer that you can get fro a fraction of the price of a Le Mans 850.
Perchance to dream…
